EIC
places a high focus on quality of products and services,
rather than just concentrating on low costs. The
company selects only raw materials of the highest
quality to be used in the production process. To
ensure that quality is maintained throughout all
processes of product development and manufacturing,
EIC has implemented the Total Quality Management
(TQM) system. All stages of the process conform
to ISO
9001 , ISO
14001 and ISO/TS 16949 certification.
The company has set an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL),
a measure of defective products
that is the base line requirement for the product
quality, at 0.01 percent. All products are randomly
inspected prior to delivery to customers. If an item
is found to be “out of specification”,
the whole lot is rejected and sent back for further
inspection. EIC conducts High Reliability Tests on
every product lot to ensure durability and long-term
reliability of the finished products.
High quality product requires 5 factors: raw materials,
machinery, method, people and environmental control.
Our people take pride in their work and have developed
the proper skill levels to be part of the Quality
Work System. We offer them state-of-the-art technical
training throughout their careers at EIC. This
enables them to keep up with technology changes; and
also helps us to instill in them a sense of accomplishment.
